MATRIMONIAL & PROBATE LAW This practice group is headed by Stuart A. Palmer. Ahmad Nizam also handles Syariah law matters and criminal matters wherever required. The practice group advises clients on matters ranging from prenuptial agreements, maintenance for children and wife, separation, divorce, custody of children and division of matrimonial assets. Recent successes include a divorce involving matrimonial assets in excess of $100 million. The team also provides full estate services including drafting of wills, applications to court , Grant of Probate/Letters of Administration, resealing of foreign grant applications and handling final distribution of estate assets. The team have also acted for clients in applications to court under the Mental Capacity Act for the appointment of deputies.
