Stratum Press is an independent publisher and online magazine dedicated to new and experimental fiction and poetry.
Founded in 2021, Stratum Press was created with the mission to discover the undiscovered, with a soft spot for the experimental.
We are a small team with a shared passion for a good story – just like the rest of human civilisation.
We’re always on the lookout for something that excites us, and great writing does just that. Currently, we offer a home to short fiction and poetry on our website as part of our online archive, The Vault, but keep an eye out – The Anthology is coming!
Although founded in the North West of England by students, we’re eager to accept English-language submissions from all over the globe, and from all kinds of writers. However, we also want to give a platform to undiscovered voices, especially those from an underrepresented background, and experimental fiction and poetry is right up our alley.
