StreetsPAC is dedicated to electing public officials who are committed to improving the safety, mobility and livability of one of New York City’s greatest assets: our streets. Our sidewalks, roads and plazas account for the majority of all public space in New York City, and are a precious resource to be used and enjoyed by all. Safe Streets are streets safe to use and cross for people of all ages and abilities, without the threat of death or injury from dangerous motor vehicle traffic. With Safe Streets, New Yorkers can lead an active lifestyle and participate fully in the life of the city. Complete Streets are streets that accommodate a variety of transportation options that enhance personal mobility rather than favoring motor vehicle traffic over all others.
