STriage is a national mobile application that utilizes facial recognition technology to detect early warning signs of stroke using a built-in technology in smartphones to unlock using facial recognition. Every time a user unlocks their phone, a built-in computer algorithm will detect minor signs of facial drooping (early signs of stroke) that cannot be initially recognized with a human eye. STriage is a safety triaging app that will detect early signs of stroke and starts a cascade safety measures, including alerting the user and their emergency contact list, and alert the nearest stroke center for emergency triaging.
