Established in 2011, Tokyo based interior design firm Strickland offers design concepts for hospitality industry in international field, which the extensive portfolio includes from Four Seasons Kyoto (Sushi Wakon), Hyatt Centric Ginza, to recent works Ritz-Carlton Nikko (The Japanese Restaurant, Lakehouse), HOTEL THE MITSUI KYOTO (Forni, Toki, Shiki-no-ma, Thermal Spring Spa), Waldorf Astoria Xiamen. Directed by the founder and the design producer Yohei Akao, we strive in in-depth research, thorough planning with holistic design approach to cater tailor-made design for every project, revamping and creating iconic and unique entertaining spaces. Strickland has a record of winning multiple awards, to mention Gold A’ Design Award by A’Design Award in 2011, and in the same year received Excellence in Innovation award by Lux life Magazine.
