The UniversalCare Strides for Seniors event is in support of our seniors to promote health and happiness at every stage in life. The family-friendly event features a 5km and 2.5km route throughout North Maple Regional Park and offers a fun-filled day that will be much more than just a run in the park. From scenic routes, food trucks, and entertainment to awesome participant swag, activities for all ages and a few fun surprises, this is a day you won’t want to miss.
We're thrilled to share our inspiring initiative – a $2 Million campaign to transform a Maple residence into an accessible Residential Respite Care Centre. This haven will offer short-term care to individuals with dementia and related conditions, providing essential support, companionship, and resources for both seniors and families.
We proudly stand alongside CHATS (Community & Home Assistance to Seniors) as our charity partner. As a non-profit organization, CHATS is dedicated to delivering personalized home and community services to older adults and caregivers in York Region and South Simcoe. Through government support, fundraising efforts, and affordable co-payment options, CHATS will administer care and services at the Residential Care Centre.
