About Strings and Things
Strings and Things is a 501 (c)(3) non profit organization created to bring the arts to underserved communities in the Washington DC Metropolitan area. These underserved communities are home to thousands of low-income families with children interested in learning a musical instrument but whose schools do not have funding for the arts or their parents can not afford for them to take music lessons.
