The STRiVE program empowers college counselors with proven tools and coaching skills that successfully increase student retention and graduation rates while bridging the gap between students' values, higher education, and life skills needed to thrive in life and career. Our Counselor Goals: 1. Build Capacity: Are counselors trained in evidence-based coaching methodologies? 2. Increase Student Retention: Do counselors have the appropriate program and resources to help align students' values with their higher education and career paths? 3. Increase Graduation: How much institutional support are counselors receiving to increase their contact time with their students? We are committed to living our values by effectively training, supporting, and certifying college counselors with coaching skills to guide their students through our 12-week Career & Life Jumpstart Program. Our Student Goals: 1- Deepen Awareness: How well do they know themselves? 2- Encourage Acceptance: What is possible and within their control? 3- Increase Adaptivity: Do they have what it takes to take on any challenge? With support from college counselors that are STRiVE Certified, students will learn how to: - Get clear on their life purpose. - Leverage their innate traits in alignment with their values. - Utilize their higher education to gain financial independence. - Elevate their mindset and gain confidence through resonant action. - Prioritize their needs and establish healthier boundaries. - Improve their health (physical, mental, and emotional.) - Get unstuck and minimize their overwhelm. The Career & Life Jumpstart Program provides students with a community to share wins, challenges, and continual advanced learning by colleagues and specialized professionals in career, life, and well-being.
