Strive CLE Counseling Mental Health Counseling & Adult Psychiatry Services A Foundation Built on Experience and Purpose The journey toward founding Strive CLE Counseling began with a deep commitment to mental health care shaped by both personal and professional experiences. After earning my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Cleveland State University, I pursued a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Kent State University. From the outset, my long-term goal was to create a practice that fostered collaboration among providers, ensuring better client care and comprehensive, wraparound services. Early Career and Inspiration Following graduate school, I worked for a nonprofit agency serving children, adolescents, and families within community and school-based programs. My years working in community mental health taught me the value of meeting clients where they are and highlighted the importance of accessible, individualized care. As my career progressed, I transitioned to the outpatient private practice setting, where I continued to support clients across the lifespan, specializing in anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and PTSD. My personal story has also shaped my professional path. Losing my sister to childhood cancer and navigating my own struggles with anxiety and PTSD gave me a firsthand understanding of the challenges many clients face. These experiences fueled my passion to provide a space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported throughout their healing journey.
