Stroke Hub Wales

Stroke Hub Wales (SHW)'s vision is to achieve a step-change in high impact stroke research, innovation, education and training. We achieve this by acting as a central resource, facilitating clear lines of communication and support between our seven Health Boards (HBs), Wales Ambulance Services Trust (WAST) and the Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) across Wales. SHW is governed by an advisory board that has representation from all the aforementioned partners as well as national leaders in stroke healthcare and patients and carer representation.
