Strongback Mobility develops the next generation of ergonomic manual folding wheelchairs and rollators Our mission: The mission of Strongback Mobility is to prevent back pain in wheelchair users by providing an ergonomically superior product. The company was established in August 2015 Zurich, Switzerland, by Christian Grothe and Ladd Lougee. Grothe has a PhD in Engineering and Lougee has a track record of entrepreneurial success by bringing the award-winning STRONGBACK camping chairs to market in 2010. Our products: The STRONGBACK family of wheelchairs are the first folding manual wheelchairs to provide frame-integrated posture support. The patented STRONGBACK solution - their unique ergonomic shape - promotes healthy upright sitting and ensures comfort from the first moment.
