Stroud FM

Stroud FM is a community radio station - that is, ordinary members of the public are let loose on air, after they’ve been trained, to play an eclectic mix of music and cover the news and views of the Five Valleys. All its presenters are volunteers, as is most of the staff who keeps it ticking over. We broadcast twenty four hours a day, seven days a week. It has a breakfast show and a drive time programme that reflects local news and events. It also has specialist music programmes that include prog rock, world, urban, Cajun, country and indie. You name it, and we probably play it. We have, on average around 60 presenters.
