StructureSmith was formed in 2009 to provide customer-oriented structural engineering. We specialize in cold-formed steel design and develop partnerships with our contractor, distributor and manufacturing clients. Our staff focuses on design solutions that are trade-friendly and cost-efficient. Our leadership team has over 30 years of combined experience in cold-formed steel and employs that experience to use the widest range of products and methods when designing an structure.
In addition we offer structural engineer-of-record services. Our specialty is mid-rise and low-rise structures using steel, cold-formed steel, wood, masonry and reinforced concrete. Our engineers have over 20 years experience performing these services as well as special inspections for commercial buildings.
Regardless of the structure there are always ways to make it Easier-to-build or to Value Engineer the materials, and this is our specialty.
