Student AirRace is more than just a competition – it’s a platform where the brightest student minds from across Europe come together to push the boundaries of aerial innovation. At the heart of the event is the Hyperdrone, a powerful, student-built multicopter UAV with a takeoff weight of up to 10 kg. From concept to race day, student teams are fully responsible for the design, construction, safety systems, and performance of their aircraft. It’s a real-world engineering challenge that demands not just speed, but also creativity, precision, teamwork, and resilience. Organized by the board of EUROAVIA München, Student AirRace provides a hands-on, competitive environment for aspiring engineers, pilots, and tech enthusiasts to apply their knowledge and grow beyond the lecture hall.
