Our journey started back in 2002 when two friends met on the door of a club called Los-Locos. They ran their first event, Flirt, just four months later at Properganda on Wardour Street with over 1500 people attending. This initial success led to the birth of Wicked Student Nights in 2006/7, which quickly became a household name in the UK's student nightlife scene.
By 2008, we were selling out three events per week exclusively online, using our own ticketing technology, now known as ipromoter, which is used by a number of successful venues, promoters, and clubs worldwide. In 2013, our founders started experiential agency StreetPR and in 2018 founded Crowdify Global, a digital marketing agency that helps other promoters sell tickets.
In 2019, we decided to rebrand from Wicked Student Nights to Student Event Tickets in order to better reflect our nationwide appeal. However, the Covid-19 pandemic put those plans on hold until January 2023 when we finally made the change. Today, Student Event Tickets is part of the Harrix Group, and we sell over 2000 tickets per week via our website, with over 150k customers attending our events each year. We also co-own and co-promote festivals and help brands target the youth audience on a national basis.
