Student Information Technology Services (SITS) is a student-led organization providing educational opportunities to students in information technology, networking, and cybersecurity. We supply no-cost computers to students who lack access to such technology at home.
We currently serve Southeastern Michigan on a mission to give young people valuable work-based learning experiences while helping to reduce the digital divide.
Our organization is student-led, allowing student volunteers to gain experience serving in roles such as administrators and technicians, with some holding seats on the board. We are constantly seeking donations of unused or decommissioned computers, components, and peripherals to bring them back to life and pass them on to students without access to these devices in their households.
