Students' Education Trust

The Students' Education Trust raises funds in the UK on behalf of the SET Foundation in Thailand. By giving scholarships and other practical support, SET is changing the lives of thousands of disadvantaged Thai youngsters. We’ve been doing it since 1994. We do it voluntarily, enthusiastically and very cost-effectively. More than 8,000 students have already benefited from our Scholarship Program. Many were supported for 12 years, through high school and to Bachelor degree level. Thousands more have benefited from our Student Welfare Program, receiving cash grants to pay for uniform, shoes, books, tools, bus fares, lunch or dormitory accommodation. It costs very little to change the life of a Thai student but there are many thousands of youngsters in Thailand who are prevented from achieving anything worthwhile at all, simply because of their impoverished backgrounds. Without SET support, they could face bleak futures and will never reach their full potential. With SET support, thousands have achieved great things, gaining real vocational skills or becoming teachers, doctors, engineers or gaining professional qualifications in many worthwhile fields. By supporting SET, you can make a positive and immediate difference to the lives of some of these bright and deserving young men and women.
