Study Association Flow

Flow is the study association for all students who study Communication and Information Sciences (CIS), Cognitive Science and Artificial Intelligence (CSAI), Data Science and Society (DSS) at Tilburg University. Flow was founded in 2002 to make the student lives of CIS, CSAI, and DSS students easier and more fun through all kinds of activities. At the moment, more than 15 years later, Flow is one of the biggest study associations of Tilburg University. The most important activities that Flow organizes are study related activities, such as selling books with discount, selling summaries to help students study and tutoring students individually or in a group. Moreover, we organize formal activities, such as company visits and workshops to give the students an idea of the work they could be doing when they are finished with their studies. Also, we organize an annual study trip to a foreign country to explore other cultures and habits. Flow also organizes all sorts of informal activities, such as the monthly drink at Klein Café Van Horen Zeggen, activities especially for freshmen and the annual association weekend. Flow keeps in touch with other study associations at Tilburg University and other CIS, CSAI, and DSS associations in other Dutch cities. We also have close connections with the faculty council of Tilburg School of Humanities and Digital Sciences (TSHD), the board of TSHD, the department of CIS/ CSAI/ DSS, and the student parties of the University Council, to help our students as much as possible.
