Studio Audal

Founded in 2020 in Rotterdam by Quentin Aubry and Zeger Dalenberg, studio audal is at the crossroads of the following disciplines: architecture, urbanism, design, art and landscape. By making narrative its primary tool, studio audal reveals the essence of a place through story-telling linking the history to the projects’ ideas and details. studio audal is an experimental laboratory for nature inclusive-design, animal-oriented design and climate adaptive solutions. It aims to explore ways to highlight synergies between species, to use small-scale experimental projects as a way-finding for replicable and scalable solutions, to understand and create biodiversity. studio audal is a learning ground for engaged and activist design proposals that raise awareness on climate adaptation. Applying circularity principles, studio audal’s use of materials prioritizes reuse and biobased sourcing.
