Studio Elementel

Studio Elementel is initiated by Nicholas Hoo, a designer with an architectural background as a creative platform to explore and design artifacts of the everyday life through fractal organization of “Elements” closely associated with the human and natural world. The creative platform aims to explore alternative methodologies of constructing artifacts of the everyday life (coffee mug, table, house) with the awareness of socio-environmental shifts, mass-migration, and material crisis in the modern and globalized world. The creative platform hopes to impact both physical and digital environments with its designs and creations through a series of: Artifacts: Elements, Components, Objects, Buildings Environs: Environments, Atmospheres, Realities Explores: Researches, Writings, Critics as methodologies to improve the quality of everyday life while being conscious of modern socio-environmental and economic issues.
