Studio Iro is an interior design practice led by creative director and founder, Lucy Currell. Studio Iro creates distinctive interiors with understated character. Inspired by the Japanese practice Wabi, an aesthetic that focuses on finding the beauty in the imperfection, Lucy brings her passion for modernist furniture, contemporary art, and antiques to create uniquely eclectic interiors. She works with artists and antique dealers to source unique pieces, rich in history.
Lucy graduated from the New York School of Interior Design and gained experience as lead designer at the interior design and development firm ASH NYC. Her exposure to both London and New York’s design scenes has allowed her work to develop a creative depth and an innovative, eclectic style.
