Studio Poesis is a Denmark-based, internationally acclaimed collective at the forefront of transforming healthcare through the power of art and design. Since 2015, we have pioneered sensory-rich solutions that actively support emotional and psychological well-being in clinical settings.
Our installations turn physical environments into clinical sensory instruments, empowering healthcare professionals to evoke and regulate emotional and sensorial states that reinforce both the act of care and the act of treatment. These stimuli can foster calmness, safety, belonging, a sense of home—even sacredness—directly supporting patients and professionals alike.
Each week, over 100 Danish children are born in our award-winning Sensory Delivery Rooms. Building on this success, we are now piloting immersive solutions in Intensive Care Units and Emergency Rooms for Children—all developed in close collaboration with leading Danish hospitals and tailored to specific clinical challenges.
