Esben Bala Skouboe is one of the world's leading experts in Arts and health synergies. He received a Civil engineer in Architecture and design and a Ph.D. degree from Aalborg University in 2015. Today Esben researches, how design, architecture, art, and tech can support patients and healthcare staff in their daily lives. Esben enjoys working on the edge of the possibility between art, science, and practice. His curiosity has taken him from art and research projects to a series of permanent artworks installed installed on hospitals. His work has been showcased on the international stage, and he received recognition and support for his projects from The National Danish Council of Art, Akademiske Arkitekter, Det Obelske Familie fond, Færch Fonden, Innobooster mf. Esben's work has been published in international journals, conferences, magazines, and exhibitions. Esben is rewarded with The Partness Foundation Architecture Price.
