Studio Pujol Sadovski (SPS) is a Barcelona-based architecture studio specializing in the design of sports and leisure facilities. The studio's founding partners, are recognized as leading experts in swimming pools and aquatic centres worldwide. They are active members of prestigious groups like "UIA Sports" and the "IAKS Swimming Pool Expert Circle." Notably, Joaquín Pujol served as Chairman of the FINA Facilities Committee from 2013 to 2022. In recent years, SPS has been involved in designing iconic facilities such as the venues for the 20th FINA World Championships in Fukuoka (2023), the Danube Arena for the 17th FINA World Championships in Budapest (2017), the Olympic Aquatics Stadium for the 2016 Rio Olympic Games, and 13 sports venues for the Baku 2015 European Games, including the new Baku Aquatic Palace. Additionally, the firm has provided consulting services for nearly all major swimming events in recent years, including the Olympic Games and World Championships, among many others.
