Studio Transit is an innovation oriented and research driven architectural practice aimed at elevating the quality of life through the creation of sustainable, smart and connected architecture for a better world. Our main talent body is fuelled by the research activities of TransitLab, a think tank filled with vibrant young researchers, dedicated to the common goal of enriching the technical, cultural and social perspective of our ever-evolving and curious team. We take our client’s goals to their highest potential through the process of rigorous technical and creative investigation in our talent-dense collaborative practice, operating from the exciting Ostiense neighbourhood in Rome. Our creation process is technically advanced, every phase coordinated by expert Project Managers at the highest industry standards, working with BIM project management systems. The strength of our practice is underlined by the longevity of our architectural office. Transit was founded in 1972 and since has changed the international landscape with an impressive portfolio of projects ranging from the systems of transport and circulation, distribution and commerce to residential design, urban master planning, mixed use complexes, religious architecture and important exhibitions. We strive to connect the soul of the city to our manufacts, using a language that is fresh and relevant when translating the needs of our clients.
