Studio141 is multidisciplinary initiative based in Jaipur, which works in and collaborates with people from fields of architecture, interior design, art, graphic design, audio visual editing, product design, installation design and education. As the name suggests the work belongs in the context and comes from an understanding of the people and their behavior patterns. The city, its people, climate, craft, socio-cultural factors, technology, innovation and most aesthetics, are all deliberated in the design process. Belonging to Rajasthan, the architectural and design heritage are key inspirations for the studio, to envisage contemporary forms of living and working. The design process is very intensive and collaborative, involving clients, colleagues, people from the construction industry and experts if required. Every design is deliberated upon through various mediums of architectural expression, a drawing, a sketch, a physical model, digital imagery and virtual reality techniques.
