Studio Joachim-Morineau approach is hybrid: they merge tools, materials, and techniques to craft objects that tell a story.
Behind the name lies a duo of friends and designers, Carla Joachim and Jordan Morineau. Since 2018, they have been working four-handed to imagine a contemporary language and design objects. Most of their pieces are produced in their atelier in Eindhoven, The Netherlands and Nantes, France.
They make fluids solid: during their studies in Eindhoven, they invented the MOCA Dripping Machine, a tool merging craftsmanship and technology. Perfected at the EKWC, this machine is at the origin of a visual language that flows through most of their projects.
