Since its inception by Jagmel Grewal in 2010, studio zigzag lighting design has been collaborating with architects, developers and engineers on commercial, cultural, hospitality, public and residential projects.
studio zigzag works with light to support the space, reveal form and texture such that the lighting solution becomes an integral element with the architecture.
Based in the Malaga area we work on national and international projects. We can work in both English and Spanish.
From the very beginning of the project we take into account the environmental impact of the lighting, energy efficiency, sustainability, maintenance requirements, the user interface and budget control. We realize projects with passion and a high level of attention to detail.
Current projects include two exciting commercial developments: an exciting and extensive mixed use commercial development for Caixabank (Puerto Triana) in Seville and a sleek skyscraper in Buenos Aires which will be the headquarters for Banco Macro. In both cases, having designed and developed the lighting concept through to detail design, we are ensuring its successful execution by detailed on-site support in Seville and remote coordination and review of construction documents in the case of the Buenos Aires project.
