Study association ConcepT was founded on January 24th, 1990. ConcepT is the study association for Civil Engineering (& Management) at the University of Twente and represents the interests of students in the field of civil engineering and members of the staff. In addition, the association organises many leisure and educational activities.
ConcepT also collaborates with many Civil Engineering related organisations to give students an impression of the work field and opportunities related to Civil Engineering. This also gives students an option to create a network. Examples of organised activities with other organisations are the yearly ConcepT symposium, excursions, and company lectures.
ConcepT currently has about 900 members. Around 110 members participate in committees to take care of the organisation of a wide range of activities. Many have an educational purpose and some are meant for leisure.
