Stutter UAE was created in 2013 from a single conversation which evolved into a support platform to bring people who stutter together.
Since then, Stutter UAE has been invited to hold awareness sessions and talks in schools, universities, and organizations all around the UAE.
Stutter UAE has been hosting the annual International Stuttering Awareness Day since 2015, which has given us so many insights into the world of a person who stutters while leaving us highly inspired by their courage and strength!
At Stutter UAE, our mission is to create a supportive space for people who stutter to get together and support one another while learning from our unique experiences and perspectives.
Our goal is to continue engaging with our community through our frequent gatherings and provide our members with valuable resources, all while raising awareness in the community about the reality of stuttering.
We are grateful to have received local and global recognition for the efforts we do and the value we bring at Stutter UAE. In addition to numerous media coverage, a short documentary about Stutter UAE has been screened at the Cannes Film Festival in the South of France and the Malmo Arab Film Festival in Sweden. Moreover, we are proud to have received the highest civilian award in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi for its positive impact on our community. Finally, the success we see our members achieve is our biggest win at Stutter UAE.
