We believe the fashion-industry is fundamentally broken, that’s why we decided to create stylekontor. While the market will continue to grow after this ongoing global crisis, the amount of already manufactured clothing that is thrown away, burned or dumped into landfills is increasing rapidly. At the same time only a small number of those that dream to become fashion designers succeed to follow their dream. We believe in the power of many, and in the uniqueness of one. For this reason, we aim to provide unmatched opportunities for designers and the ability to contribute in the creation of unique limited styles for everyone. With stylekontor we have decided to fundamentally redesign the make to-sell culture of established fashion and instead only produce limited editions of independent designers on-demand. We think this is the biggest lever in reducing the incredible amount of textile waste generated by today’s fast fashion giants. stylekontor provides its customers with a community to share and exchange, offers a crowdfunding marketplace, where independent designers can pitch their best styles, and handles production, logistics and customer service of all styles produced on the platform. Our goal is no less than to change fashion for good.
