The Economics Students' Society, HKUSTSU

The Economics Students' Society, HKUSTSU, was founded in 1992 with the primary objective of promoting the interests of economics students. It is a non-profit making, student run body that is affiliated to the Department of Economics and Student Union. Over the years, the Society has grown from strength to strength and has developed into one of the largest departmental societies boasting a diverse membership of over 600 students, with a large proportion of those majoring in Economics. Work hard, play hard is our prime belief. The Society will always aim to provide an all-round education and strike a healthy balance between work and play through its various functions, so that through participation in these functions, members would be prepared for and be in touch with the business world whilst having fun in the process.
