Sub-Four

Sub-Four is a reference to running a mile in less than 4 minutes. Prior to May 6, 1954, this was thought to be impossible. Roger Bannister thought differently. Against all odds and expert opinions, he knew and showed it could be done. He was the first person to run a mile in less than 4 minutes. Doing things that had not been done before – that is his true legacy. As it turns out, when he broke through a previously impenetrable track-and-field barrier, he taught all of us what it takes to break new ground. As used herein, “Sub-Four” and “Sub-Four Capital” refer to a group of separate companies, including, without limiting the foregoing, Sub-Four Capital, LLC, which specializes in venture capital, growth capital and buyout opportunities; Sub-Four Capital Advisers, LLC, a registered Investment Adviser with the State of California that trades equities; and Sub-Four Capital Management, LLC, which acts as a commodity trading adviser and commodity pool operator. The members of the “Sub-Four” and “Sub-Four Capital” group are all separate legal entities associated through common ownership, control, and/or investment strategy. As used herein, the terms “Sub-Four” and “Sub-Four Capital” refers to the group of companies, and not one specific company, except when used in connection with a specific product or service such terms refer to the separate legal entity that provides such product or service.
