We are a research team consisting of experts in hydropower, river ecology, innovation, hydrology and power engineering. The research team consists of both academic and research staff from Trinity College Dublin and University College Dublin with Easy Hydro Solutions acting as our industrial partner.
We aim to develop a co-designed widely implementable and low-cost solution that will enable fish-friendly micro-scale hydropower energy storage. This solution will be developed based on the combined social, economic, environmental and technical strengths of our research team and based on inputs from various stakeholders in industry and government.
