Inspired by one of the earliest queer Japanese magazines “Subarashii Onnatachi” (Amazing Women) and the meaning of subarashii as ‘amazing’ or ‘terrific’, this site takes a multi-cultural, queer perspective to the ways in which Japan and its culture is intertwined with the world.
