Subliminal Ideas is a Behavioral Finance Policy Lab. A multidisciplinary research and policy initiative dedicated to understanding and improving the digital financial decision-making eco-system for investors. We integrate cutting-edge insights from behavioral economics, finance, psychology, and neuroscience to design and test interventions focused on protecting investors in their digital space. Our work spans Personal Finance, Investor Behavior, Digital Finance Behavior, Nudges and Incentives in Personal Finance and Regulatory Frameworks. We aim to bridge the gap between theory and practice, conducting field experiments, behavioral audits, and collaborative research to inform public policy, institutional strategy, and financial innovation. What We Do Experimental Research: Field and lab-based studies on investor behavior, retirement planning, tax compliance, risk perception, and more. Policy Design & Consulting: Application of behavioral tools to improve financial inclusion, tax policy, consumer protection, and regulatory frameworks. Behavioral Diagnostics: Assessment of decision-making environments and biases within institutions, using behavioral audits and surveys. Education & Capacity Building: Workshops, training modules, and mentorship to strengthen behavioral finance literacy across sectors.
