In the heart of the oldest continuously inhabited city in the world, Damascus, we started our practice. SUBOL (the traditional drinking fountains) was founded to enrich the culture and quench the design thirstiness.
SUBOL (“ways” is another meaning) was founded to find several ways and possibilities to meet the needs of people, needs that may be spiritual as well as being material.
Our young and, at the same time, experienced team who is coming from various designing background and had worked on several big projects at the best practices in the region has joined together trying to rethink working space, architecture and urban space. Our goal is to make a distinctive impact on humans, as they are the core of our design, and the culture.
