Through the promotion of charitable financial donations and the selfless giving of time, energy and ideas, the SubOptic Foundation aims to provide education and training programs for the benefit of present and future individuals in the industry and the broader community. The Foundation will encourage and actively address awareness, inclusivity and diversity across that population and inspire recruitment through mentoring, scholarships and other means.
Also, to increase recognition and knowledge of the industry among global stakeholders concerned with the future and the wellbeing of the oceans and of subsea infrastructure and communications.
The Foundation was formally launched on 18th January 2021.
