Subtle Aromatics

As an Aromatherapist, I work with Gabriel Mojay's system of Oriental Aromatherapy, which combines the use essential oils for the mind and emotions in conjunction with a solid clinical practice. He is the author of "Aromatherapy for Healing the Spirit." I use organic and wild-crafted essential, infused and base oils, sourced from ethical suppliers. Each aromatherapy blend is created according to the symptoms or issues the client presents with on the day. Recommendations for self-care in between treatments are offered at the end of each session. Some of the ways the treatments can help are listed below. Physically: • Pain relief from headaches • Relief of muscular tension (including the face and scalp) • Relief of muscular fatigue and spasm • Promotion of deep relaxation • Improvement in sleep patterns Mentally: • Lowering of stress levels • Easing mental fatigue • Increase in mental clarity • Improvement in focus and concentration Emotionally: • Easing of anxiety and stress • Balancing of emotions • Increased levels of confidence Each essential oil has its own distinctive profile and therapeutic and energetic properties. For each treatment session, the essential oils are chosen to work in synergy with the presenting requirements of the individual as a whole on that day.
