Suburban Capital is a privately held hospitality company founded in 1999 and headquartered in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The company and its principals have decades of experience in the design, development, ownership, and management of upper-upscale and select service hotels throughout the mid-Atlantic. The company has developed, owned, and operated more than 50 nationally franchised hotels in the southeast, maintaining strong relationships with top-tier franchise companies including Marriott International, Hyatt Corporation, and Choice Hotels International. Suburban Capital traces its roots and core business philosophy to its initial holding of Suburban Park Shopping Center in the Wards Corner community of Norfolk, Virginia. The owners and patrons of the original 15 Barbers Shop, located in the heart of the shopping center, believed in hard work, a strong sense of family and community, and the importance of integrity.
