Sudelac Limited

A UK headquartered upstream oil and gas service sector business established in 2010 providing products and services for well construction through to well abandonment. The company has designed, patented (granted 2013), and in 2011 launched a unique oil and gas well cementing float equipment testing system to improve operational efficiency in primary cementing operations. Float Equipment Assurance, using the unique FloatCHECKER PT Test Pod allows a full load and pressure test to be applied to cementing float equipment in a non-damaging way without being threaded directly to the item. In 2013 Sudelac launched the CasingIDTOOL a digital three-point calliper tool. The tool assists in cementing operations by helping to obtain good casing/liner ID measurement to assist in determining the volume of the pipe to achieve greater efficiency in plug bump. There are a number of other current R and D projects underway in well cementing and well abandonment. In particular a new style of drill pipe cement head for dropping multiple wiper balls, wiper darts and setting balls called the EzeeDROPPER DP aimed at Plug and Abandonment balanced cement plugs. Sudelac Ltd was founded in 2010 by Paul Howlett who was also the founder of Caledus Limited (merged with Tercel Oilfield Products in 2010), and former Managing Director Eastern Hemisphere of Specialised Petroleum Services Ltd (Sold to Mi-Swaco in 2005). The company founder has more than 30 granted patents as inventor or co-inventor to his name in down-hole tools.
