Ethnic Youth Empowerment Society (EYES)

The Ethnic Youth Empowerment Society (EYES) is a student-led initiative founded at One Sixth Form College to celebrate identity, promote equity, and empower young people from ethnic minority backgrounds. Born out of the desire to create inclusive spaces in education, EYES works to dismantle barriers through community-building, cultural celebration, and leadership development. Our work includes organising annual Culture Days, promoting scholarship and widening access initiatives, running student-led workshops, and creating peer mentorship opportunities. We champion youth voices, promote representation in leadership, and amplify lived experiences—ensuring every young person feels seen, heard, and valued. We exist to empower the next generation of change-makers.
