Sugar Boat

Sugar Boat: a relaxed, informal neighbourhood restaurant offering great food at great value in a warm & welcoming environment. The restaurant is located at 30 Colquhoun Square in the heart of Helensburgh, we’re open from 10 o’clock Tuesday to Saturday and 11 on a Sunday through until late at night: serving breakfast, morning coffees (and a home made scone or two), afternoon cream teas and inspired, seasonal à la carte bistro menus which showcase the best local produce. In our wine shop all our wines are available for off sale at very affordable retail pricing with a large range between £8.50 and £15.00 (you can spend more if you feel indulgent of course) – so if you’ve enjoyed that glass you had with your meal or simply want something for the weekend or to gift to friends, why not grab a bottle to take away. From our kitchen: charred wye valley asparagus, black pepper mayo, parmesan or pan-fried cod, young courgettes, cockles, sea vegetables & capers; and warm clafoutis, salted caramel ice cream.
