Sugar Creative Studio is a nationally leading, highly respected creative innovation studio based in the UK. Currently celebrating its 10 year anniversary, Sugar Creative has an in-house team of 12 talented designers and developers, all with dynamic overlapping skillsets. Founded in 2009 by Jason Veal and Dan Clemo, Sugar quickly built a reputation for high quality creative across multiple disciplines and became known for its innovative approach to marketing. Sugar Creative was pioneering Augmented Reality and advanced data driven marketing solutions from early 2010, launching rich engagement driven marketing campaigns for entertainment venues in the UK. In 2016, founders Jason and Dan launched Bean&Gone. An original children’s IP with the ethos of always encouraging kids to play together. We pride ourselves on defying conventional systems to find the best solutions and realise worthwhile outcomes for our clients. Sugar is an innovation driven digital studio specialising in creating cutting edge learning tools, purposeful games, and immersive brand experiences. In the last six months we have created mixed reality learning tools to take budding historians back to Victorian London, train children about road safety through Virtual Reality learning, implemented voice recognition and AI to assist in the diagnosis and support of communication linked strokes, and brought dinosaurs to life. Sugar Creative has now become a market leader in innovative mobile development solutions with clients ranging from global giants such as Allianz, Toyota, and Santander to small pioneering entrepreneurs making their own mark. As part of a small consortium, Sugar Creative Studio was recently appointed by the UK government to create a demonstrator for the potential of technology driven British immersive storytelling on an international stage.
