The Punjab State Federation of Cooperative Sugar Mills Ltd is an apex body of Nine Cooperative Sugar Mills in the state, located at Ajnala, Batala, Bhogpur, Budhewal, Fazilka, Gurdaspur, Morinda, Nakodar and Nawanshahr with crushing capacity of 17750 TCD. As per the guidelines issued by Punjab Government, E-tendering have been introduced in purchasing above Rs.5.00 lacs as well as for sale of molasses and sugar. Sugar Sale Depots have been opened at main road gate of all sugar mills where special efforts are being made for retail sale of sugar under Fateh Brand in 1kg. 5kg. and 10kg and 25 kg packing directly to consumers. Efforts are also being made to enter into production & sale of Gur and Sakkar in some of sugar mills.
