SUIT - Sustainable Urbanization Through Innovative Technologies Platform

Sustainable Urbanization Through Innovative Technologies (SUIT) Platform aims to develop new technologies for the infrastructure of smart cities in accordance with the principles of green agreement and sustainability, and also aims to increase the innovative product development and export potential of Turkey’s rapidly developing smart city sector by increasing the level of preparation of these technologies. The vision of the SUIT Platform includes developing new technologies for the infrastructure of smart cities in a human-oriented and sustainable manner. SUIT was supported under the Center of Excellence Support Program 2021 Call. SUIT has created a synergy by bringing together universities (METU, ESOGU, Işık University), large companies (VESTEL Electronics, Ulak Haberleşme), leading R&D institutions (ODTÜ-GÜNAM) and SMEs (Kuartis, JeoIT) that are actively producing in our country. TÜRKÇE Sürdürülebilir Kentler için İleri Teknolojiler Platformu Platformu (SÜİT), akıllı şehirlerin altyapısı için yeşil mutabakat ve sürdürülebilirlik ilkelerine uygun yeni teknolojiler geliştirmeyi ve bu teknolojilerin hazırlık seviyelerini yükselterek Türkiye’nin hızla gelişen akıllı şehir sektörünün yenilikçi ürün geliştirme ve ihracat potansiyelini artırmayı hedeflemektedir. SÜİT Platformu’nun vizyonu, akıllı şehirlerin altyapısı için gereken yeni teknolojileri insan odaklı ve sürdürülebilir bir şekilde geliştirmektir. SÜİT, TÜBİTAK 1004 Mükemmeliyet Merkezi Destek Programı 2021 Çağrısı kapsamında desteklenmektedir. SÜİT Platformunun sinerjisi, ülkemizde aktif olarak katma değer üreten üniversiteleri (ODTÜ, ESOGÜ, Işık Üniversitesi), büyük firmaları (VESTEL Elektronik, Ulak Haberleşme), önde gelen Ar-Ge kurumlarını (ODTÜ-GÜNAM) ve KOBİ’leri (Kuartis, JeoIT) bir araya getirmesinden kaynaklanmaktadır.
