It’s 2019, in the Philippines, a country with a young, energetic and hyperconnected workforce mirroring that of its global counterparts. It’s an era of side hustles, the gig economy, hobbyists, and microbusinesses. The confines of a one- or two-page CV no longer apply. How can job applicants best express themselves, their personality, their creativity, and their skills, so that they can get noticed and selected for their dream job? Likewise, how can recruiters cut down and better digitise their recruitment time? We created SUITD, a job matching app. We cut to the gist of what recruiters want to see. Applicants have the option to upload 15-second videos and answer ice-breakers, providing deeper insight to their personality. As with all matching apps, both parties can easily message each other for faster communication (and faster hiring). We believe in these values: Results-oriented: We focus on quality.
