Sukarh is a project that was first created after tasting "Halawih Zalabia" from Nablus and being told the only way to taste this traditional Palestinian sweet is to bring it from there! From this experience, Sukarh was established as a means of sharing this delicious sweet and at the same time uniting the people in the Middle East.
We wanted Sukarh to create happiness for three parties. First, people who tasted Sukarh as children. When they taste our product, it will remind them of good times from their childhood and will bring a smile on their faces. Second, our community, as Sukarh will give 10% of every jar sold to local start ups in an effort to help establish home businesses. Third, the Sukarh team. Our goal is to help establish 20 home business in our first year. Accomplishing this will give our team happiness.
