John has won a number of awards over the years. Among them he was named to Computerworlds Premier 100 list in 2006. He was an Orbie finalist in 2018 for Capital CIO's non-profit CIO of the year.
John is well networked in the non-profit world and has served on the Technology Committee of ASAE on and off over the years. He is a popular speaker with non-profit audiences.
