At Sumdocs, we know that R&D proposals are most compelling when ignited by the spark of human ingenuity and fueled by “lightning in a bottle” team collaboration—not when built by successive prompts to the latest LLM. Small businesses, academic labs, federally funded research and development centers. All these entities share a common challenge to securing federal government funding: responding to solicitations without the benefit of established proposal processes or dedicated proposal practitioners to support the bid effort. The Sumdocs app was built to tackle precisely this challenge. Rather than automate the necessarily bespoke technical content development, we have worked with experienced proposal professionals to build a tool focused on process orchestration. In doing so, the platform will manage your response development process with the expertise of a seasoned proposal manager written directly into its code.
